Domestic Violence Program

This is a 52-week program certified through the local probation department to provide domestic violence counseling for those individuals ordered to enroll by a court of law. Men and women can enroll as a voluntary client (as opposed to court mandated) or this can be ordered by other agencies (i.e. CPS; employers, etc.).

The mission of the Domestic Violence “Batterer’s” Program is to teach men and women skills that will prevent domestic violence; to improve relationship skills; to improve emotion management skills; and to improve problem solving skills for the clients in this program. Appropriate referrals are made for clients needing substance abuse or other mental health counseling.
